2026 Nissan Rogue vs 2026 Jeep Compass in Beckley, WV

Among the most popular compact SUVs are the 2026 Nissan Rogue and the 2026 Jeep Compass. If you’re trying to decide which one is best suited for your Beckley-area travels, then read our guide. Our team at Lewis Nissan has prepared this comparison to aid you, and you can contact us with any further questions!
Performance
When shopping for vehicles in this segment, the gas economy is a major attraction, and the 2026 Nissan Rogue arrives with an EPA-estimated 29/36/32 MPG city/hwy/combined1 fuel efficiency rating. That surpasses the 2026 Compass and its EPA-estimated 23/31 MPG city/hwy2 gas economy rating. When you’re traveling along I-64, you’ll also want reliable power, and the Nissan Rogue emerges with 201 horsepower and 225 lb.-ft. of torque from its standard 1.5L turbocharged 3-cylinder engine. In contrast, the Jeep Compass comes close with 200 horsepower and 221 lb.-ft. of torque by way of its 2.0L turbocharged 4-cylinder engine. Those who desire the ability to choose their drivetrain will also value the Rogue and its standard FWD and available Intelligent AWD3 compared to the 2026 Compass, which only has standard 4WD. Yet, the Jeep does get the benefit of a 2,000-lb. maximum towing capacity4, a bit more than the Nissan and its 1,500-lb. maximum towing rating5.
Interior
The gap between the 2026 Nissan Rogue and the Jeep Compass begins to widen even more when considering the interior. First off, the former emerges with up to 72.9 cubic ft. of cargo capacity6 with the rear seats folded down, while the latter offers much less, 59.8 cubic ft. of stowing area7. That’s not to say there are no similarities between the compact SUVs, since they both include five seats for passengers. Additionally, both models have available 8-way power-adjustable driver’s seats as well as available leather-appointed seats. Also, drivers in either car have the ability to let in more light via the available dual-pane panoramic moonroof in the Nissan and the dual-pane panoramic sunroof in the Jeep. Yet, the Nissan Rogue pulls ahead in terms of overall functionality with its available memory feature for the pilot’s chair, allowing you to recall the settings you find most comfortable for your trips to New River Park.
Technology
Both compact SUV models have impressive infotainment systems, but Nissan shows its heightened value with the available 12.3-inch multi-function information display8. The maximum screen size you’ll get with the Jeep Compass is a 10.1-inch UConnect®5 display. We also have to consider the size of the instrument clusters. The 2026 Compass is equipped with a standard 10.25-inch All-Digital Driver Information Display, but that falls short of the 12.3-digital dashboard9 on the 2026 Rogue. Keeping the data you need in front of you is important, and the Nissan model makes that possible with the available head-up display10, a feature that is absent on the Jeep. Lastly, the entertainment package is better for the 2026 Rogue and its 10-speaker Bose®11 Premium Audio System. It provides a richer listening experience compared to the available 9-speaker Premium Alpine® sound kit in the Jeep. All in all, the 2026 Nissan Rogue has the features you need for your daily rides, both on and off the road, so book a test drive today and learn why you’ll agree with us when we say, Buy us once, Buy us for life. Wonderful dealership and people.
I will return again when needed.
“ I appreciate the lady in parts department working with my schedule for bring in my car on a recall notice. It worked out perfectly and the personnel were pleasant and professional. Even though I was just for a recall regarding a key fob issue they did a thorough check of my car and brakes. I was not expecting them to go to so much trouble. I am pleased with my experience at this dealership. I will return again when needed. ”

“ Wonderful dealership and people. Had to bring my Sentra in for engine work on more or less a moments notice. Total time from drop off to in loaner and back on the road was less than a hour and half! This was such a wonderful and painless dealing with a dealership. My next vehicle will definitely be from Lewis based on the fact Nissan has a amazing warranty and the dealings I had with Dana and the rest of the employees who work there ”
